Yesterday, Elder F. and I taught primary! The topic was the Holy Ghost. We did a fun little activity for the kids. We changed the game “Pin the Tail on the Donkey” to “Pin the sticker of Jesus on the door of the Temple”. We hung up a big picture of the temple and they had to stick the sticker of Jesus on the door of the temple while blindfolded. The stickers ended up all over the place haha; some didn´t even make it on the picture! Then we did the activity again with a new picture of the same Temple. But this time they had a helper. I stuck a sticky note that said “Holy Ghost” on a kid and his role was to guide the blindfolded kid to the door of the Temple. The stickers ended up in the right spot this time. Then we showed them the difference between the two pictures and asked what difference the Holy Ghost made in guiding them to the door of the Temple.
We also sang primary songs with them; it was a good time! It´s not too different teaching primary kids than it is teaching investigators haha. We already teach investigators as if they were kids so they can understand. People have to learn simply, at first, to be able to build upon what they know and gain a testimony.
I love you all!
